In 2014, the undergraduate program in Internet of Things between Applied Technology College of Soochow University and California State University-San Bernardino, USA (CSUSB) was formally launched. This project, the first ever Chinese-foreign cooperative education program nationwide for independent colleges, was approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education, going by the Permit Code MOE32US2A20131545N. Upon finishing initial 3 years’ study at Applied Technology College of Soochow University, qualified Chinese students of this program can choose to be transferred to CSUSB for 2 years’ further study toward a bachelor’s degree and diploma from Applied Technology College of Soochow University and a bachelor’s degree from CSUSB. Those who choose to study in China for the fourth year can receive a bachelor’s degree and diploma from Applied Technology College of Soochow University.
