Chiangmai Chinese International school (CCIS International School) is a full-time international school officially registered by the Ministry of Education of Thailand. Established in 2019, it offers international curriculum for high school(12th grade) and below levels.
CCIS International High School introduces the teaching syllabus and curriculum system of El Camino Real Charter High School, the top public high school in the United States. It integrates the advantages of China's solid basic education, and adopts practical and highly cost-effective integrated curriculum, to consolidates basic subjects such as academic courses. CCIS International School also arranges a large number of intensive English courses, and pays attention to the overall improvement of students' quality, aiming to lay a solid foundation for students to study in Europe, the United States, Thailand, South Korea and other Southeast Asian universities.
In accordance with the principle of combining practicality and effectiveness, the school adopts bilingual teaching in Chinese and English, with experienced Chinese and foreign teachers to undertake the teaching tasks, and articulation of the curriculum and credits of American high school. Textbooks from both the People's Education Press in China and American high school materials are used to maximize the potential of students and ensure their academic results are satisfied when applying for study abroad after high school graduation. CCIS International High School arranges a large number of IELTS courses, eliminating the need for students to take expensive extracurricular courses elsewhere, thus reflecting its high cost-effectiveness.
CCIS International High School also offers Thai language courses to cultivate multi-cultural talents to meet the requirements of Thailand's National Education Plan (2017-2036), and lay the foundation for some students who intend to study in Thai universities after high school graduation.
CCIS is the cooperative teaching center of Confucius Institute at Chiangmai University, as well as the Overseas International Exchange Center of Yunnan University and the Thailand International Exchange Center of Qujing Normal College.
"2+1" - After completing the 10th and 11th grade courses, students can enter and study the 12th grade courses (the 3rd year of high school) in a top-quality high school in the US, if they can pass the assessment at the end of the 2nd year of high school. After graduation, the students can earn graduate certificate from the high school, and directly apply for further studies at a top university in the United States to pursue an undergraduate degree.
"3+0" - After finishing the three years’ study in CCIS high school, students can apply to overseas universities in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and other overseas universities for further study through the 3+0 model; Students can also apply for English-taught undergraduate programs at universities in Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong and other universities.
